Pediatric Medical Assistant needed for a
full-time contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in
Los Altos, CA .
Ideally temp-to-hire for the right fit! This is located at a nationally recognized pediatric healthcare organization and is ongoing until further notice. Temp-to-hire availabie! You'll be assisting the medical team with front and back office responsibilities.
--> Shifts:
Monday-Friday 9:00am to 6:00pm
*Potential for cross-training to cover some Saturday shifts, as-needed.
Top Skills You Should Possess: - Medical Assistant Certificate/Diploma
- Registered or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, CCMA) highly preferred
- Positive attitude, excellent customer service skills, and must be a team player
- Looking for a responsible, friendly, and helpful employee
What You'll Be Doing: :
- Greet patients, check them in/out, and collect payments
- Answer phones and schedule appointments
- Maintain employee health records
- Room and triage patients
- Provide medical testing such as blood glucose, blood pressure, cholesterol, vision and hearing screening
- Administer vaccines and pass out meds, as directed
- Process requests for prescription refills
What You Need to Bring to the Table: - BLS/CPR certified
- Full medical clearance (ie proof of MMR, Hep B, Varicella, and yearly TB or QuantiFERON Gold test)
- Strong organizational skills and good at multi-tasking
- Must be confident giving immunizations and working in a fast-paced environment
